Hello Autumn:
As we find our selves coming back inside and away form our gardens and outdoor
responsibilities, we begin to look at our home anew. Children settle down into their new
school schedule, outdoor sports and activities start to take form and our home once again
is calling us for the things pushed aside for the summer.
Take a deep breath. Think of your projects and do not let them over whelm you. You maybe
picking up on something you already started or beginning a project anew, but breathe.
Take a look at my website WWW.Buniqueinteriors.com or contact me at 845-471-7407, fall
classes are starting and there maybe one that can help you.
The holidays are fast approaching. Thanksgiving November 23 this year, the good news is we
have time before, but before you know it the holiday season will be upon us. Plan your
decorating needs and get started.
Be realistic and if a project can be done before the holidays, great. But if not, let it
take shape and the time needed, dont rush it. If you feel you cannot complete it
before the holidays, wait and put it off till after the holidays. Do what you can do well
and you will enjoy it more.
Enjoy the beauty of the changing colors and take the time to appreciate the change. Enjoy
the process of making changes in your home in the same way you enjoy the change of the
seasons, this too should be a rewarding process that ends in beauty too.

Pace yourself with you decorating projects
This is the time of year we all take note of
the should have, could have, would have things that did not get done over the summer. Be
kind to yourself. You may not have gotten to somethings, but I am sure there is
plenty that did get accomplished.
Think of the projects you are wishing to accomplish and be realistic about the time it
will take to complete, your time frame to finish and your budget. Things always take
longer then expected and cost more than we plan. We are busy, hard working American
families.
When hiring a professional, remember any professional; contractor, painter, designer, etc.
that does good work is busy. Our area is in a blooming growth spurt. Call ahead and plan
to wait for an appointment in most cases. If you have a good referral, however, it could
be worth your while to wait.
Think your needs and budget through so you are giving the proper information to your
professional. They can only give you the best help when fully informed.
When not sure of your ideas or decisions, hire a professional for a consultation. An hour
of consultation is time and money well spent. People spend more money making wrong
decisions then they do when they have a proper planning. Be a wise consumer.
Your time and home are valuable. Give them the attention to detail they deserve.
